Welcoming Baby Gray
Very rarely am I in a position to photograph my clients step by step…. This is one of those rare instances! You may remember just a few DAYS ago I was in the hospital awaiting this sweet baby girl. Though I will try my best to keep this blog a bit shorter…. I am NOT making any promises! HAHA!
I was beyond excited for this newborn shoot as I had very specific ideas and props that I wanted to use for this sweet little! One of the very first was mommy’s belly cast. Because they had booked their maternity AND newborn session with me, we did a cast of her belly so that we could photograph little one in it. I must say that may be one of my favorites! It’s amazing to think and see how they probably looked while in the womb.
This sweet princess was THE BEST baby! For the first hour at least she was bright eyed and so peaceful. Most newborns sleep through the majority of their session… Not little Greyson! Her eyes would get so heavy and she would fall asleep for a brief moment, then wake right back up to give me wide eyes! My heart just melted! She LOVED being wrapped in my baby wraps, or really anything!
One of the last things we did with our session, was put mom and baby in a milk bath… SWOON! I am pretty obsessed with those images because you always see expecting mommies in milk baths not the newborns with their mommies! I love everything about it! Actually I loved everything about this session! When you see these images you will see why I have such a soft spot for my newbies! They are precious and only this small for so long!
I have grown quite attached to this family! ALL OF THEM! I love how mom and dad love each other, and how they love their new addition to the family! It makes me so happy for them because I know that things only get better! The love that they have for this sweet new one will only grow and get stronger each day! Orlando and Tosha remember to cherish every second you get! Thank you for choosing me to capture these AMAZING moments! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us as she grows!
