Welcoming precious baby River to this beautiful family was such a joy. This sweet baby girl was such a wonderful baby to photograph. She was still so small that my custom crystal headband for newborn babies was TOO BIG for her… I couldn’t believe it! Although I was unable to meet her family before hand they were so welcoming and so very kind. I was immediately drawn to Jessica’s (the mommy) two other daughters who were the MOST well mannered young ladies. They reminded me of my two girls and what I have to look forward to in just a couple of years. And can I just take a few moments to talk about River’s father (Jack)…. the love he has for his whole family and his new precious daughter had me so touched… I almost got emotional a few times HA HA! The few and rare moments when baby River would get upset, all mommy had to do was speak to her and she would calm down. One of the reasons I love photographing newborn babies is for that very reason…. the bond that mother and baby have is one of the most powerful things on the planet!!! And I love being a part of it. Well I apologize for the sappy blog but something about newborns do that to me. I am thrilled to share this lovely family and their newest family member with you!
