Baby boy DRAKE!
OH BOY…. Here comes another emotional blog post… just brace yourself!
The Wilinksi family is just so near and dear to my heart. I had the privilege of documenting Drake’s newborn portraits and if you can even imagine I fell in love with this family even more.
Our session day was ABSOLUTELY perfection, and the bonds and just overall beautiful-ness I was able to capture makes my heart melt. I loved hearing all about his delivery, how much mom and dad are treasuring even the tuff times ( you know… the times where you are exhausted and the baby is crying) and just how their family is perfectly complete. The love just RADIATES in the entire home!
Drake was one of the very FEW babies I have EVER seen that just wasn’t happy about being swaddled. Welllll he was when he was able to have his arm out HAHA! I loved that I could see his personality forming already! He likes what he likes and he is quite clear about it JI have to say as PRECIOUS as he was in all of his sweet outfits my FAVORITE IMAGES are when ALL the family are together. His older brother Jack is such a gentleman. He has the cutest smile I have ever seen and I quickly became OBSESSED WITH HIM!!!!
As I am sitting there getting them where I want them and right before I press the shutter button, I am looking through the view on my camera and in that split second it seems like time stands still. I have every memory of my children from that age flying through my mind. I see how Adam (dad) looks at his gorgeous wife (Ally) and I am so moved with love. I have again fallen in love with my career and why I do what I do. THIS. This is why I do what I do, to preserve moments just like these so family can forever and always cherish and remember these times.
Ally and Adam I SO LOVE YOU GUYS! Your hearts and personality are perfection. I seriously do not feel like I am working when around you. Our journey together has been amazing, and I know it isn’t the end. You two are some amazing parents and your kiddos are equally as awesome as you! Thank you for letting me be a part of the family!
