Baby May Coming Soon
I am not sure how you make a reasonably sized blog about a session that has SO many emotional aspects and memories involved!
This beautiful couple is expecting their first baby. A baby girl! And words simply cannot express HOW EXCITED I AM ABOUT THIS BABY! Not to mention this couple are very good friends of mine. As I am writing, or typing rather, I am trying to keep my emotions together!
So our session started early, as we had so many concepts to get through. And I have to say EVERY SINGLE CONCEPT was so amazing! Mommy to be (Elaina) nailed every single thig we did. I was so proud, it was a long day, and she was such a trouper! Just to tell you all a little about Elaina, she has a very similar personality to mine. A go getter! I love her energy! She also completely surprised me with her ability with her underwater posing skills! There was not much direction given during our session as far as posing because she just GOT IT! She understood how to hold her body both out of the water and in! It was amazing! AND… When we went underwater she would SINK straight to the bottom! THIS IS UNHEARD OF! Haha! It just doesn’t happen. So we were able to knock out a session that takes many several hours, in a little over an hour! UNBELIEVABLE! This couple loves to travel and scuba dive almost any chance they can, so I am assuming that is what helped her during the underwater part!
Daddy to be (Andy) was so supportive of the concepts we were conquering one by one. I LOVED more than anything else the way they would look at each other! He would smile at her, in return making her giggle and it was absolutely like they were in their own world! Again no direction needed to be given, they were so natural with each other, and my heart melted on several occasions! The love that they share was infectious and the only thing I can say is… THE PICTURES SAY IT ALL! Even though Andy struggles with the underwater part some, I could tell he REALLY wanted to try so hard so that Elaina could have some images of them together underwater. HE DID NOT GIVE UP! That is why I believe one of my FAVORITE images is them two underwater! I know how hard he worked to make it come together!
Overall these two make an AMAZING team and I just loved photographing them! It was a long and tiring day, along with this crazy Georgia humidity. But that didn’t matter. We were completely caught up in the excitement of a new baby coming soon! LESS THAN SIX WEEKS! AGH I can’t wait to see her!
As I wrap this blog up, I want to give credit where the credit is more than due! I want to tell Stephanie THANK YOU for assisting with the “tossing of the gown!” Your awesome! LOVE YA!

AND LASTLEY I want to tell Andy and Elaina how excited I am for them! You two are beautiful people both inside and out! Elaina I know you are going to be an amazing mother. You are a strong yet soft woman all at the same time. You are always trying to keep others in mind, and your energy is absolutely amazing. I have no doubt your sweet baby girl is going to be so much like you! And your relationship will be so amazing! Andy even though it is a little scary, your calm, patient and positive outlook is how I know fatherhood will fit you perfectly! Continue to keep each other laughing! You look out for each other and it’s beautiful! You both are going to be amazing parents! I CANT WAIT TO MEET HER!
