This session was one that really pulled at my heart strings. This amazing family hit a huge speed bump when Amanda (the mommy) was almost right in the middle of her second pregnancy. She was diagnosed with cancer…. and it was stage FOUR! They had to take her precious baby boy early and she has been going through treatments for several weeks. Although you could tell she was tired and in pain through our shoot, she never quit smiling. It is very difficult for her to hold her babies, so I wanted to make sure and capture her with her precious children for the times she may not be able to hold them at all. I instantly fell in love with this family and could evidently see the love they shared for one another. Her hubby (Bruce) was there to give her a helping hand when she needed to readjust or have help moving. This family has an amazing support system that was clearly seen with Amanda’s parents who were also there to help and make the little ones smile. I think I made a good friend with their daughter, as I sang bits of Frozen to her to help her loosen up some…. I’m pretty sure it worked đŸ˜‰ I wanted to say with all of my heart how privileged I feel to be part of this family even if it was just for a short period of time…. And I want to tell both Bruce and Amanda to keep fighting and NEVER give up! Enjoy these images… these were a couple that really stood out to me!
