Greyson is 9 MONTHS!
Yesterday may have been my FAVORITE milestone session with this family to date!
To start things off for her 9 month milestone session I wanted a change, instead of shooting outside like I do many times, I wanted to shoot in the Gray home. The last time I was here was when Greyson was a NEW baby. When I say new I mean NEW she was only a couple of days old. But this time it was different. SO many things have changed. Greyson is growing, and every time I see her, her personality is shinning brighter and brighter.
To start our session off I walk in say hello to everyone and go to see miss Greyson… SHE REACHES FOR ME!!!! There really isn’t much more that can make me melt than a little one reaching for me. I have been photographing her since she was in the womb, (Maternity) and I genuinely believe that when you have been photographing a baby for that long, they know and remember you. That is also what I believe adds to the beauty of the images, she is comfortable with me.
She was active and just as beautiful as ever. Some of my favorite parts of her session were the #12 t-shirt she wore… It was her dads! He even showed me the picture of him in it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how sentimental it is. I also LOVED the milk bath. We photographed her and her mother in a milk bath during her newborn session, and we did it again for her 9 month. Although I do love the newborn milk bath images… I AM IN LOVE with these new ones. And a super sweet FUN FACT about the milk bath this time… We used the exact same flowers that were from the wreath we used during her newborn session. Yes… yes….. I love how sentimental it is. And lastly Greyson had her first bubble bath yesterday and it was just precious!!!!! The look on her face is the best!!!
Orlando and Tosha, I am beyond excited about these images. I always love photographing you two and Greyson as a family and also each of you with her separately. BUT there was just something EXTRA special about this session. (Not to mention the falcons won on top of everything else HAHA) I am excited for what the future holds for you two, and LOVE being there to watch Greyson grow! As always every session I just love you all even more!
