Greyson is one!
As hard as I have tried to wrap my brain around the fact that an entire year has gone by, I still cannot seem to fathom it. I remember vividly my first call with Orlando (Greyson’s Dad), I remember vividly going to meet my new clients for their pre-session consultation, and I remember vividly how quickly I feel in love with them!
It seems like time has been put on fast forward for the Gray family. One moment we were photographing Tosha’s (Greyson’s Mom) maternity session, and then a breath later she was being induced, and then a second later I was wrapping Greyson and photographing her in her first milk bath, she was the sweetest newborn during her session. I remember holding Greyson for the first time, and when I held her yesterday… I couldn’t help but get a little emotional. Not because I was sad, ( even though I was a teensy bit) but because I LOVE seeing the person she is turning into. She is expressive, and funny… (even though she makes us work for those smiles.) And she loves her parents! I know she will not realize this until she is much older, but she has amazing parents. They are loving, and funny, and truthfully the word clients just doesn’t fit them anymore….they are my family.
I feel so fortunate that I have been able to be with them all for her milestones. BUT even more special is this family will send me texts, or pictures in between. I LOVE THAT!
So yesterday was very special. Not only is Greyson one now, but we re-created some images from her maternity session. The weather was perfect, and we were able to find an original art piece we had photographed her at for her maternity session! IT WAS PERFECT! We recreated some of my very favorite images from their maternity session. It was and is always too hard to try and pick some to share for the blog sneak peeks.
AND to top it all off Orland and Tosha are expecting their second child, A BOY this time… And I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this fabulous family!
Orlando and Tosha I LOVE YOU GUYS! You are an amazing little- growing family, and I thank you for allowing me and TRUSTING me to be able to photograph some of the most important moments of your life. I can’t wait to meet little man. Greyson, I know you won’t understand this now… But you have a piece of my heart sweet little one. You will do fabulous things with the life you have been given, and I cannot wait to see the amazing woman I know you will grow into. Your expressive eyebrows and contagious smile light anyone’s day up. And always know if you ever need to talk one day… KK is here. Love you sweet girl!
