How to pack your clothing for a session. As promised this blog is going to show you how to efficiently and effectively pack your wardrobe for our session. It will be broken down step by step so you can see how to easily keep all of your things orderly and together. The featured image of this blog is EVERYTHING you will need for an outfit selection. Your outfit of choice, with any and ALL of your accessories, a pair of scissors, and a piece of paper or an index card. Don’t pay any attention to the clothing items I used, they are just random clothes and accessories ;-). Let start your session off smoothly and together!
Step 1. Hang your entire outfit on one hanger if possible. if not hang a separate hanger to your first hanger.
Step 2. Take your piece of paper or index card (used here is a plain envelope) and pierce your earring through it. Place the backing of the earring on your earring so you wont loose them.
Step 3. Cut a small line on your piece of paper about an inch or two from the top.
Step 4. Place the piece of paper over your hanger through the small cut previously made.
Step 5. Hang the rest of your accessories over your hanger. If you have any headpieces this would be done with them also.
Step 6. The last step is your shoes. You can place the heel of your shoe through the hanger and have them sit this way. Now please keep in mind the fabric of your garments. You don’t want your shoes to pick, or make holes in your clothing. If this is a concern grab a bag for your shoes and hang the bag over the hanger. After this you are ready to go!
