Jillian’s Day
So there was this session yesterday….
I’m sorry I’m not sorry for the book of a blog that is fast approaching ……
Once upon a time… There was this very KIND and huge hearted prince, we will call him Dan. This prince wanted to get THE most PERFECT gift for his amazing princess, we will call her Jillian. He wanted something unique and different that she could call her own. Something that her heart was truly fond of. After doing much research this prince found EXACTLY what he had been looking for. A chance for his princess to be the fairy she always dreamed of…..
Welllll this story is true. I had the privilege of photographing a fairy yesterday. The above actually happened. This session started several months ago, when Jillian’s boyfriend (of only a couple of months at the time) booked her a session with me for something you can’t just get anywhere. She wanted to be a fairy… Now the super whimsical person in me squealed just a little because I don’t do these sessions often.. so when I get the opportunity with the right people, pretty neat stuff happens.
I fell in love with both Dan and Jillian almost instantly because they are both so kind and colorful… LIKE ME 🙂 It didn’t take me long to realize that Dan may be the BEST boyfriend on the planet. Not only did he book the session for her, he helped with her wardrobe, was completely awesome during our session,…. AND completely off subject he gets her flowers ALL THE TIME! That’s right ladies tell your guys to take note. With the same breath Jillian is so deserving. She is beautiful on the inside and OUT, her big ole eyes that you can get lost in…. you will see soon.
I can truthfully and honestly say I HAVE NEVER seen anyone more devoted to their session. She MADE almost everything you see! With help  from her bestie (who was also with us for our session.. AND WAS A HUG HELP TOO!) She even had several Hair appointments to make her transformation complete. She did trial runs on her nails.. hair… wardrobe… EVERYTHING. She kept me very informed and was always asking the perfect questions. I knew it was gonna be awesome come time for her session.
And awesome it was!!!!!
However we were all a little concerned about the weather because, well… we live in Georgia. The weather can be amazing and in like 5 seconds be like…”Hm I think a tornado would be good.”  So of course we were kind of bighting our nails a little, but the session day FINALLY arrives and the sun is out! We had awesome weather for the most part. We got rained out at the very end…. But not before getting some pretty epic images. I love how Jillian was always so trusting of my vision. She said MANY times… “this is your vision, I’m just the model.” EEEPPPPP… That’s what all photographers want to hear! DUH!
SO overall everyone should know how unique and special this session is/was. We all had an awesome time! I want to wrap up this blog by saying Jillian you made one beautiful fairy. I am so excited and in love all at the same time! You were awesome! Dan you were too haha!
