How excited I am to share these images with everyone. Having a business in an extremely saturated market, I feel so strongly in making sure I provide not only an amazing experience but also providing images you simply can not get any where else. With That being said I present this gorgeous soon to be mommy. She is Hmong (mung) and I wanted to pull her heritage through on our session, so in two of the images you will see her dressed in native garb. Can I add how gorgeous it is… I mean look at that headpiece!
I had the idea of photographing somewhere that would match her garments but was a little stumped, after all we are in Atlanta GA. However I do not give up easily and found this location with many hours of searching. I also am a firm believer in going outside of your comfort zone.
This second location is extremely popular…. Stone Mountain, yes that’s right we literally photographed on top of stone mountain with tons of people looking on. Good job to this mommy who handled it like a PRO! I also wanted to take a minute and speak to any fellow photogs who may be reading this, two of these images were absolute accidents/right timing kind of thing. The image of her on the rocks… If it had not been raining all last week like it was this large puddle would have NEVER existed. The only vertical image in this blog was a test shot and only one of my off camera lights fired, but I LOVE IT, the way the shadows fall on her is amazing. My point is not all of the most amazing images happen on purpose. Part of the reason I love photographing so much…. you never know the possibilities! Enjoy these images.
