My Heart in a Family
Oh, the Gray family…. Be still my heart.
This family has been with me for almost 5 years. It all started with a maternity session and here we are almost 5 years later closer than ever. I am moved by this family in so many ways I genuinely don’t even know where to begin. Their love is probably top of that list. It just radiates through all of them. You know how you can tell a family’s happiness through their children? Well this is 100% the case with this family. They have the happiest children and it just makes my heart swell.
Every session with this family I learn something new. Love has never been a question… but on the toughest year you expect SOME tensions on a session… Not here, while walking to our destination dad sees an older couple swinging and looks to mom and says… “That’s gonna be us right babe..” In response, she says “yes baby” and I glance back and just see them gleaming. I mean here we are in the middle of a pandemic where tensions are the highest they have been… marriages are struggling everywhere. And then there are these two. These two amazing human beings that I am so thankful for.
I can’t even get started on their children… Miss Alexandria has started her own business…. https://hellkatkreations.com/ You all know I am obsessed with women entrepreneurs. Her smile lights up a room and I can’t wait to see where she goes! Miss Greyson has had my heart since before she was born! She has the sweetest disposition and is going to do big things too- I just know it! And oh, my little Deuce Man… The most handsome little man you will come across with a love for letters and enough energy to run the world. I have absolutely NOTHING but positive things to say about the Gray crew…. And am beyond obsessed with their wardrobe CHOICES! Look closely and take it all in! Let it sink in. Look at the beauty and strength. Admire the kindness and selflessness…. Dad is a fire fighter and mom is helping young people with their education. IN THE YEAR 2020!!! See this family for everything they are. Appreciate each one of them for being exactly who they are. I most certainly do….
