Power Family

You all have seen these faces before and I promise you this will not be the last. The history and love for this family is so rich and beautiful… I love that.

We decided to switch our session up this year, mom had a vision and together we made it our own. A little different of a session than what we normally do… Thankfully too, because the weather has been so ICK! We put a dramatic spin on a classic family portrait and I am in love! I must ask… HAVE YOU EVER SEEN SUCH A FABULOUS FAMILY!?!? This is wat happens when you have a power couple that has babies…. POWER FAMILY!

But what makes this family SO special is not what is on the outside, it’s what you find on the inside… THIS ENTIRE family is the most loving kind family you will ever meet. These kiddos have every bit of my heart, if only you even knew. They are so well mannered and genuinely kind. When they laugh they belly laugh, and when they are upset they cry real tears… You know whatever they are upset about is really REAL to them. They were so patient as I clicked away documenting their faces, (a true feat, all parents of small children understand.) There is not a single second of time spent with this family, that I wish had moved quicker.

Maybe I am too sentimental for my own good… But I really don’t care. I know how fleeting time is and I know that every time I see this family, these beautiful faces will be one year older… So, I will sit there and listen to every word these babies have to say. I will hug this mom and dad EVERY TIME I see them. I will forever make insane noises just to get even a small crack of a smile, even though I never make the babies laugh quite like mom and dad do. I want to always cherish times like these, because I know after they leave and we wait for our next meeting… those moments are now simply memories.

A beautiful family makes for amazing portraits. For me though, it is always deeper than just documenting memories for this family… It’s like making memories with my own flesh and blood.

Orlando, Tosha, my little punkin, and deuce man…. I love you and will ALWAYS be aunt KK to you. You may not understand right now just how much your little words and hugs mean to me now, but one day you will. Until I see you all again… LOVE AUNT KK!

AND ENJOY YOUR SNEAKS!
