Morragan’s Stylized Session
EXCITEMENT! Too bad ALL emojis can’t be on a laptop! SO I want to tell you all about my very FIRST session of the 2016 year, not only was it freaking AWESOME but it was my first class of 2017 SENIOR for this year!!!! And we completely blew it out of the water!
This is Morragan’s Stylized session! First let me explain what EXACTLY a stylized session is. These sessions are for seniors who want to take it a step further past senior pictures. NO these do not replace your senior portraits, but it absolutely is a way to celebrate your last year of high school and make a statement! Plus who doesn’t want to do a completely high fashion, totally THEMED shoot?
So when I saw Morragan’s hair I IMMEDIATELY gravitated towards the hunger games Capitol representative Mrs. Effie. I wanted to make a beautiful combination between Katniss and Effie. So we chose a wooded area and a very high fashion outfit (created by myself ) and high fashion makeup to blend the two.
AND OH MY GOODNESS DID WE CREATE MAGIC! So the day of our session it was VERY cold. Out of nowhere winter decided to show its ugly face. (I hate the winter if you cant tell) But that seriously didn’t stop us not one bit. With a blanket never too far away we would cover Morragan up for a few minutes and then toss the blanket for a few shots.
A few days before our session I sent a ridiculous BOOK of a text, just updating morragan and mom about the weather and last minute preperations…. And wouldn’t you know that I forgot the time and sent the text during school hours!!!! OH MY GOSH I about died when her teacher responded, and I quote “This is Morragan’s Spanish teacher she will have to get back with you.” UHHHH CRAP <<< that’s exactly what went through my mind! So obviously I called mom (Jepette) and apologized, of course! Fortunately everything was ok and I guarantee that will never happen again!
After all was said and done this stylized session absolutely ROCKED!!!! And now if you didn’t know before you know now exactly what a stylized shoot is and that we offer these sessions to our seniors!
