Waiting for a PRINCESS!
What an insanely awesome yet challenging session we had this past Thursday!
This mama is a TROOPER you guys! Literally!!!! Underwater is a beast and when you are expecting it is all the more challenging. She was tired, she got sick, in part, due to motion sickness I believe. (poor thing, my heart was BREAKING for her.) BUT you would NEVER know any of this from her images. She gave it her all! Anytime someone gives it their all amazing things are bound to happen! Amazing it was. I could NOT be any prouder of the art work we created. Through everything she went through, she came out on top!
We soaked up the last bit of underwater warmth we could that day…. It was chilly. Thankfully we had the MAJORITY of full sun to warm us up. The water temp was not freezing of course but it was cool. Surprisingly, given our 90-degree weather. Those cool nights are enough to chill the water down though. But we took our time, warmed up when we needed to and pressed on.
I love this mama, she is such a strong woman. I say that not just because she did so well on her session… But because of how she so gracefully dealt with her challenges. This session, although exhausting, fit her! She needed to be in the water. She needed images that could show how fierce she is! This was that session.
Nana, I want to tell you thank you for your relentless effort you put forth. It was amazing to watch and be in the presence of – further document. These images are some of my very favorite underwater images! I know it’s because we fought so hard to make them come to life. You are truly beautiful inside and out, and I am beyond thrilled to have been able to document such amazing images. I am still in awe of you! Thank you for trying everything I asked of you! That trust I value so much! THIS WAS A HARD SESSION! But you DID IT!!!! I cannot wait to meet the rest of your family soon! Until then..
ENJOY YOUR SNEAKS!
